THE MODERN VILLAGE GREEN

With its tree-lined streets and welcoming atmosphere, Annandale doesn’t feel like a city suburb – and yet, it’s just 5km from Sydney’s buzzing CBD.

This unique combination of convenience and charm has seen Annandale become one of our city’s most desirable postcodes, and thankfully, none of its original character has been lost along the way.

ANNANDALE'S RICH HISTORY

Lovingly restored terraces showcase Annandale’s rich heritage, and friendly pubs, cafés and parks can be found dotted throughout the suburb. Meanwhile, Booth Street provides a central ‘high street’ where locals pick up groceries, meet for coffee and trade greetings. While the community here is certainly close-knit, it’s one that welcomes newcomers with open arms.

Ear & drink local

The Inner West has become home to countless, pubs breweries and eateries in recent times.

FANCY SOME MORE?

EDUCATION AT EVERY TURN

Small folks are well catered to in this part of town.

With a number of Day Care centres in the local area. In Annandale itself, there’s The Crescent Early Learning Centre, Toxeth Kindergarten, Mindchamps Early Learning & Preschool, and Annandale Occasional Care – all of which you can get to on foot from Abbie’s Lane. Local parents also recommend Only About Children (which has centres in Leichhardt and Glebe) and Boundary Lane Children’s Centre in Newtown.

CAFFEINE AND CROISSANTS

No shortage of bakeries and cafes.

There’s no shortage of great coffee in the Inner West, and Annandale is no exception. If you want to grab a takeaway or a convenient bite, pop ‘round the corner to Trafalgar Street Espresso. Or if you’re in the mood to loiter over your latte (and maybe spin breakfast into lunch), try 26 Degree Bakery on Booth Street, or Cherry Moon General Store on Nelson Street. While you’re there, we recommend sampling their house-made wood fired sourdough and grocery goodies too!
